Data Cabling
Layer One Projects Ltd have vast experience in the installation and maintenance of cabling infrastructure. This includes Cat5/5e, Cat 6 & Cat 7, in UTP and STP solutions. This can range from the addition of a few extra outlets in an office area to the new installation of a complete solution into office buildings, schools, retail outlets, construction sites and more. We can complete all works from installation of containment, right through to the testing and commissioning.

Fibre Optic Cabling
At Layer One Projects Ltd we have the capabilities for the installation of Fibre Optic Networks. This can range from a simple Cab to Cab link through to the installation of a complex diverse network backbone. We have the knowledge and equipment for both fusion splicing and direct termination. Our engineers also have an excellent understanding of testing parameters and using testing equipment such as certified power and light meters and OTDR testers.

Moves and Changes
When change happens, you want your people and customers to feel it's business as usual. We can make moves and changes smooth and swift with:

• Audit and patching, floor outlets and voice backbone.
• Installation of Cat 6 outlets where necessary
• Un-patching of redundant outlets and re- patching of data and voice moves

Voice Cabling
Our engineers are highly experienced in the installation of Multicore Voice Cabling. The voice projects we have been involved with vary in size, from small single link installations between comms cabinets to a voice DP in offices, schools and retail outlets. To Large LLU backbone solutions within BT telephone exchanges.
